Terms of Use — Okasyon.ph

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Okasyon.ph, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

2. The Platform

Okasyon.ph is a marketplace that connects customers planning events with venue owners and suppliers. We are not a party to any transaction between customers and vendors. We do not own, operate, or control any venue or supplier listed on the platform.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Venue Owners & Suppliers

Listings must be accurate, up-to-date, and not misleading.
Photos must be genuine representations of the venue or services offered.
Okasyon.ph reserves the right to remove listings that violate our standards.
Vendors are solely responsible for fulfilling their obligations to customers.

5. Enquiries & Bookings

Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed when both the customer and the vendor have agreed in writing (through the platform or otherwise) and any required deposit has been paid. Okasyon.ph is not responsible for disputes between customers and vendors.

6. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, offensive, or in violation of these terms. Verified reviews are those linked to a confirmed booking on the platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
Attempting to circumvent the platform to avoid fees.
Harassing other users, vendors, or our staff.
Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

Okasyon.ph is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, SJM Ventures Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between customers and vendors.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
